Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports around the teenager age. After her kickboxing and boxing lessons, wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and subsequently went on a 3 fight win streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of all fights. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was already beaten by Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her by unanimous decision to put an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. Aspen joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Aspen won her subsequent fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed her impressive fighting skills to defeat McGill and ended her fight via the third round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy with an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy up to the point where she knocked her down with a KO. In her last fight for Invicta FC, she defeated Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina via a fight that was a foot and pound victory in 2nd round. She remained dominant and scored an even impressive win in her next bout against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the first round and received a performance of the Night bonus. She fought her first big fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Avs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. They fought in a close fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in 16 seconds. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya during the third round of UFC in ESPN 7. Her most recent bout for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. Dumont was defeated in a unanimous decision.
