Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, country-pop musician and songwriter, when she was a character in the TV show One Tree Hill. She played Alex for the duration of three of the last four seasons. The series featured her first releases as country music and helped propel her debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. The follow-up album from 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The actress was signed a contract with Elektra Records, and she introduced her new contemporary country track I Won't Give Up in the One Tree Hill 2011 episode. It later appeared in her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. It made it to in the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. In the following years Kramer concentrated her acting career around film and music. She starred in several films like Heart of the Country 2013 as well as Country Crush 2016, which attracted her followers directly. Kramer launched her second album of her own, Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville, in October 2015. Alongside The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy and an duet featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it fared even better reaching number three on country's albums chart and number ten in the Billboard 200. The two-month stint on Dancing with the Stars 23rd season ended in her placing 4th. Also, it was the year when she scored a contemporary-adult hit, with Feels like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
