Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 at Meadville (Pennsylvania), is the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, and Joseph William Stone, a tool and die maker. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She was one from three sister. Stone began second grade in kindergarten at the age of five. She was a graduate of Saegertown High School in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. She was crowned Miss Crawford County, she was also a part of her first Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone was moved into New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt, to pursue a career as models. In less than a month she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. After spending a year in Milan and Paris and then moving to Europe. Stone however became disillusioned in Europe in the modeling industry, and decided to venture to acting. She appeared at 20 in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," which received mixed reviews.
